It preserves the humidity of the soil throughout the planting field, prevents growing weeds, and keeps vegetables and fruits clean by preventing direct touch with the soil. Accordingly, it prevents spreading diseases and , allows plant roots to grow faster and healthier by controlling the soil temperature .Mulch films are suitable for many plants, especially vegetables (e.g. tomatoes, peppers, eggplants), fruits (e.g. strawberries, grapes), flowers and herbs. The type and thickness of mulch film may vary for each plant type.
